We have an idea...we think it's important. Do you?

Brand new teachers come to the classroom with anywhere from four or more years of university education. But there is often a missing aspect to those years of instruction which we believe should be a graduation and Alberta teacher certification requirement: a mandatory course on how to identify children with learning challenges, like Learning Disabilities and ADHD, and how to best teach them....because every Alberta teacher will have children with these challenges in their classrooms.

If you agree this is an important idea, be heard and let your party candidates know.

Tell them when they knock on your door, call you, host an event or if you reach out to them.

In this election month, they are listening hard!

Left Unread Movement

Words Unread are Lives Unlived

A child who can't read by the age of 9 faces a fairly bleak future.

Left Unread continues the legacy of Calgary Reads "declaring that our children deserve the opportunity to realize their full potential. Low literacy in childhood is not acceptable."

We agree...especially since some of those children will also have a Learning Disability or ADHD. Check out the Left Unread website.
