Meet Nikki, our newest pharmacist! Nikki received her PharmD from the University of Louisiana Monroe and has been working with us for 9 months. In her free time, Nikki enjoys hiking and traveling. She also loves throwing fun themed parties for her loved ones!

When asked about her favorite thing about working at BFP, Nikki said:

"Working with my amazing and caring coworkers."

Nikki's empathetic and professional nature makes her such a great pharmacist to work with, and we are so lucky to have her on our team! Next time you're in the pharmacy, ask Nikki about how her favorite baseball team has been doing lately.

Watch your meds in the heat!!

Some medications can increase sensitivity to sunlight or affect how your body regulates heat. These include certain antibiotics, blood pressure meds, and antidepressants.

As the weather starts to heat up, make sure you're prepared with all the information and plenty of SPF on hand! Ask your pharmacist if any of your prescriptions require extra precautions in the sun.
