COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT SIGN UP

The most exciting 24-hours of the year for Sacramento-region nonprofits has started and ends tonight at midnight! Through gifts made today on Big Day of Giving, Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference can sustain our life-changing programs for youth who crave connection to each other and to their communities, and for those less fortunate who they serve.

Youth and adult "teams", board members, and alumni have organized their own campaigns in support of Hands4Hope. Their stories are so inspirational! We hope you'll take the time to read some.

Rivaan, like most 7th graders, lives for time spent with his friends. But what sets Rivaan apart is that he has found a way to spend time with his friends while making a difference—which he does through his on-campus Hands4Hope Club at Rolling Hills Middle School. This competitive soccer player brings the energy he has on the field to his leadership role as President of his Hands4Hope Club, and excels at stepping in whenever needed, and incorporating everyone's ideas. Read on to get to know this young leader.

Hands4Hope Youth Participants and families: please join us for the 14th Annual Youth Recognition Event! This free family-friendly event, taking place June 25 at the Placerville Gathering Place, is where we recognize the achievements of all of our Hands4Hope youth participants, whether you have attended just a handful of Community Engagement opportunities, been part of a on-campus Club or after-school Committee, or served in a leadership role! We want to celebrate it all!

Youth will also be able to present their demonstration projects, providing an opportunity for all to learn about their service-learning experiences in the 2024-25 program year.
