Have you ever had questions like what is a termination notice or what an eviction termination actually is? Or who’s responsible for upkeep, repairs and the conditions of the property? Save the date for VIA's first "Coffee with Elected Officials" event of 2022, Our first guest will be Alderwoman JoCasta Zamarripa. This event is scheduled from 6pm-7:30pm at 5wise Working Space, 3524 W National Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215.

During this in-person event you will able to do the following:

  • Learn about ways you can work with your Elected Official to better your community

  • Learn about their role as your Elected Official

  • Ask questions about topics that matter to you

Youth Resource Fair
Saturday, May 14th

Join community partners by stopping by the Youth Resource Fair from 11:00am - 3:00pm at South Division High School. Through interactive workshops, activities and demonstrations like creating foam art, writing short stories or engineering paper electronic circuits, discover – beyond the brochure – the great programming available to you this summer. 

Opportunities in arts, theater, urban gardening, leadership, STEM, and more are available for youth of all ages. From summer recreation to college prep and paid positions, the offerings at this resource fair will build transformative skills and connections that can be used well into the future. 

This family-friendly event will have bilingual resources, free food and live music from DJ Stretch of TRUE Skool.

Savvy Cycling with VIA

Do you want to learn how to bike ride around your neighborhood? Join VIA & Bublr Bikes at the Savvy Cycling event to ask questions and to learn how to move safely on a bike. This event will take place at Mitchell Park (524 S. Layton Blvd, Milwaukee, WI 53215) from 10:00am - 11:30pm.
