Audrey was diagnosed with bladder cancer in 2017, here is her first-person account of her experience.



Tim received his diagnosis a few months before his 50th birthday. He generously shares his profound experience and personal journey.

Your Healing and Recovery Journey with Cancer: Strategies for maintaining mental health wellness and resiliency 
Join us on Tuesday, June 20 at 7pm ET for an informative webinar, “Your Healing and Recovery Journey with Cancer: Strategies for maintaining mental health wellness and resiliency”. In this webinar, Sonia McMahon-Comartin, Mental Health Educator at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Windsor-Essex, will help individuals understand the emotional challenges that come with receiving a cancer diagnosis and provide practical guidance and support to navigate this difficult time.

Current Volunteer Opportunities at BCC: 
We have been receiving more requests for 1:1 support from a volunteer who has the following experience: 
  • Female with ileal conduit 
  • MIBC patients who preserved their bladder 
  • Caregiving for someone with bladder cancer 

We are also looking for a volunteer to lead a support group in the Maritimes/Eastern Canada.
