Blaine's Spring Block Party
Join us on May 16, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Blaine for a vibrant celebration honoring Asian & Pacific American Heritage Month. This year’s Spring Block Party includes live music and performances, Tiki Lounge, street fair, kids activities, beer garden, and more!

May Community Dinner
Join us for a warm and welcoming Community Dinner, open to everyone. Enjoy a delicious meal, connect with neighbors, and share in an evening of good food and good company. This is our last Community Dinner before we break for the summer (we will resume in September).

Get ready for an action-packed day of imagination, adventure, and fandom at the Blaine Comic Festival! Join us at beautiful Blaine Marine Park for this free community celebration of all things nerdy and pop culture, featuring gaming tables, unique vendors, costume contests, and more. Whether you’re a superhero, wizard, gamer, or comic fan, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Freedom Eve
Join us at Freedom Eve for an epic outdoor music bash under the stars! Local favorite Brushpopper open the night, followed by the legendary Uncle Lucius. Bring your camping chairs, friends, and good vibes for a relaxed, outdoor concert experience you won’t want to miss. Plus, make it a full evening with dinner from local food trucks on site!

Beginner Friendly Spring Group Walks
Join our Activity Coordinator for beginner-friendly group walks this spring, the perfect way to explore our home! Bus leaves from Birch Bay Activity Center (7511 Gemini St.) at 9 a.m. unless otherwise noted. Please bring a lunch, snacks and water; pets not allowed. Cost is $5-$10 per person.

Beach Explorations
Head to the Birch Bay State Park this summer to explore the beach! Join us for Beach Walks to search for and identify marine life during low tide. Or join us for Clamming 101 for informational classes about clamming, including rules, regulations, equipment and harvesting methods. (*Note, if you plan to harvest clams, you must have a current clamming license. Clamming may turn into a beach walk if shellfish harvest is closed.) Free and open to all ages. In partnership with Friends of Birch Bay State Park.

Summer Hikes
Join us to explore the trails of the Pacific Northwest this summer! Summer Hikes start May 22nd, and run through September. Hikes depart via bus from the Birch Bay Activity Center at 9 a.m. (unless noted.)
Cost is $5-$10; additional fees may apply depending on distance and parking. Registration for each hike required.

Kids Summer Day Camp: Registration now open!
Get ready for an exciting summer in Birch Bay! Our Summer Day Camps are back, running Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting June 22 through Aug. 13. These camps are the perfect opportunity for your child to enjoy outdoor activities and make new friends. Scholarships available; contact info@bbbparkandrec.org for more info.
Summer Camp Location: Birch Bay Activity Center, 7511 Gemini St. Ages 5-12 Cost: $195 per child per week, registration required.

Registered Fitness Sessions
The next 6-week Registered Fitness Session starts on May 10th. These sessions are for those who want to stay consistent and build on movement week after week. There are three classes available this session: Vinyasa Yoga on Sundays, Strong Start on Tuesdays/Thursdays, and Momentum Lab on Tuesdays/Thursdays.
