Are you getting ready to finish your school year? Do you continue through the summer? Whatever your school schedule is, Unite Homeschool Network has you covered! The month kicks off with our Ice Cream Party at 2 different parks (for anyone to join!), then continues on with the last Homeschool Meetup of the school year (at 10:30 and 2) and Homeschool Kids Sports Camp, and then leaves us excited for next year with the Homeschool Resource Fair in Woodstock. Think that's a lot? Our calendar is filled with even more events to keep you and your family connected with other homeschoolers all throughout the month. Check out the featured events below!

Last Call for Family Formal & Prom -THIS Saturday!

It's not too late to come out for our big formal events.

This event is open to any homeschool family! Invite your friends for a Storybook Evening.

Family Formal is 5-7pm and for all ages

High School Prom 7:30-10:30 (15+)

Featured Upcoming Events

Homeschool Sports Camp

Unite Homeschool and Kidokinetic are teaming up to bring an amazing new opportunity! A day camp each morning of May 15-19th from 9-12:30!

Kids will be introduced to multiple sports & group games, do a craft, have snack time, open sport exploration and then end with lunch together.

Registration is $225 total for the WHOLE WEEK!

This can be a drop off event, or you may stay and volunteer for a 10% discount!

Sibling and volunteer discounts available.

Homeschool Resource Fair

FREE ADMISSION!

Engage with other families, enjoy meet and greets with the local providers (co-ops, hybrid schools, curriculum supplies, etc.), and get your questions answered by the many wonderful folks in our community.

Meet tutors, music instructors, STEM activity clubs!

Whether you are a seasoned homeschooler or just getting started, this fair is a great place to enjoy time with other members of our dynamic homeschool community!

Homeschool Meetup at Woodstock Library

10:30am or 2pm

Join homeschoolers of all ages (with breakout sessions by age) for a fun time of learning. In between come play at JJ Biello Park. This will be the last session of the school year!

Teens in the Driver's Seat: Seat Belts

This class is free to attend for Unite Members and is a great way to introduce your middle or high school students to safe driving concepts.

This event is sure to be amazing! Hosts of all sorts of homeschool services will be available to answer questions and tell you about what they offer. Bring the kids out and find the perfect music instructor or STEM club.

Save the Date! 2 Summer Book Clubs!

Parents of Elementary Ages are invited to join Jennifer Henn in a summer book club specifically designed to equip you! Join Jennifer each Thursday in June at JJ Biello Park to look at her book: Taking the Mystery out of Homeschooling! (Copies of the book included!)

Jennifer desires to see homeschool families flourish. From her 19 years of experience, she shares with transparency the successes, failures, and heartaches she had while homeschooling her three children.

Join other local homeschool Parents of Teens & Tweens for a Summer Book Club series looking at the book "Parenting Beyond the Rules" by Connie Albers.

While the parents are meeting the teens & tweens are invited to come swim!

There is no cost to participate in book club, but you must be a member of the network. Please login to learn more. Book club dates begin as soon as May 18th!

Past Event Highlights

Kids and teens of all ages enjoyed an Easter celebration complete with fun for the littles and a STEM challenge for the older ones!

The tweens & teens of Unite had a fun time bowling at Cherokee Lanes in Canton, GA!

During the family camping trip, everyone toured the Little White House in Warm Springs, GA.

How did you begin homeschooling?

One day while shopping with my first toddler at a thrift store in the middle of the afternoon, I noticed a couple of teenage girls shopping and having fun and giggling at their findings when one of them mentioned that being able to shop for fun things in the middle of the day was the beauty of homeschooling! I remember right then in that moment thinking, “well they don't look Amish and they’re homeschooling?” In fact, those girls looked cool! I went home and started researching what homeschooling looked like and I got a completely different answer than what I thought...
