This month’s issue reflects the incredible work happening across our community and I’m excited to share important updates, opportunities, and events on the horizon.

Our team recently returned from the Asembia AXS25 Summit energized and inspired, reminding us of why our work matters. We’re excited to turn these new insights into actionable steps for the communities we serve! Accessia Health was honored to be featured across multiple conference media platforms speaking on the urgency of health equity, the impact of social determinants, and the evolving needs of patients navigating specialty care.

You can find us at panel sessions at the upcoming BIO International Convention, with our esteemed and trusted Compliance Adviser, William Sarraille, on June 18th as well as at the NICA Annual Conference on June 21st. Both sessions cover the rising need for copay and premium assistance. In today’s landscape, our shared commitment to affordable access must be stronger than ever.

We’re preparing to launch a quarterly Policy and Advocacy newsletter! Take a moment to subscribe today and stay on top of the latest news from Capitol Hill regarding legislative and program updates.

Thank you, as always, for being part of the Accessia Health community. We’re grateful to walk alongside you in our mission to break down barriers and bring holistic support to every person who needs it.

AXS25: Innovation, Collaboration, and Compassion

The Accessia Health team had a wonderful time at this year's Asembia AXS25 conference! Our leaders’ attendance represented an ongoing mission into understanding new patient assistance perspectives and purpose through meaningful dialogue and collaboration.

From learning about real-time engagement platforms to better support patients to a few fun rounds of JENGA that symbolized the fragile balance between rising healthcare costs and critical support programs, we continue to look forward to building on the connections we made and turning these insights into action for the patients and families we serve every day.

Check out our conferences webpage for the events Accessia Health is attending and make plans to connect with us on site!

Advancing Health Equity for Rare Disease Patients

With nearly $220 billion in medical debt burdening Americans today, health equity for patients, especially those living with rare diseases and chronic conditions, has never been more critical. Individuals managing rare diseases often face disproportionately high healthcare costs, complex navigation through the healthcare system, and significant disparities in access to necessary care.

Tiara Green sat down with The American Journal of Healthcare Strategy to offer a unique and powerful perspective rooted in personal experience and professional expertise, aiming to bridge the gap between financial hardship and quality care.

Understanding CIDP: Navigating Life with a Chronic Neuropathy Diagnosis

Living with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) can mean navigating daily fatigue, muscle weakness, and uncertainty around treatment outcomes—all of which can take a toll both physically and emotionally. For many individuals, the burden of managing symptoms is compounded by the high cost of ongoing care.

Living with Sarcoidosis: Insights and Support

Sarcoidosis, a condition that causes tiny collections of immune system cells (granulomas) to form in one or more organs in the body when triggered by bacteria, viruses, dust or chemicals, is estimated to affect between 150,000-200,000 Americans, and over 1.2 million people worldwide. Accessia Health aims to educate about the symptoms, risk factors, treatment options, and support management.

Congressional Republicans are advancing a budget reconciliation package focused on tax and spending reforms, which requires only a simple majority. While the House has made progress through committee markups, the Senate is awaiting action. Deep party divides, especially over tax deductions and benefit cuts, make the bill’s passage uncertain.
