DiLeo's/Bank Site

A revised proposal for the former DiLeo’s restaurant site at Central and Elston avenues calls for underground parking and a reduction in the building’s height from 51 to 41 feet.

“The earlier concerns expressed to the developer were heard,” Gladstone Park Neighborhood Association president Joe DiCiaula said. “A lot of what we said was addressed. Lower height, larger units, a higher parking ratio and the elimination of retail.”

Board Member Recognition

In honor of the Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce's 30th Anniversary we are recognizing our Board Members for their support and dedication to the success of our small businesses in the community.

Jaime Morales

Jaime Morales is an agency owner of Allstate Insurance. He has been in the Gladstone Park Community and a member of the Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce for 9 years. He has been a Board Member for the past 5 years.

Jaime is a strong believer in networking and joining the Gladstone Park Chamber has given him a great avenue to meet other business owners. Jaime joined the Board to share his experience and to be a part of a strong legacy of volunteering in the Community. Jaime values the ability to get involved with like-minded Business Owners for the well-being of our respective businesses and Community. I also like the fact that the Gladstone Chamber plays a key role in local efforts like: The Gladstone Park Throwback Music Fest, Police Recognition Banquet, Student Scholarship Essays, Seasonal Coloring Contests, etc.

He the youngest of eight siblings and I have six sisters, so I always tell people I grew up with seven Moms. (He has a lot of shopping to do for Mother's Day!)

Jaime wants to tell members to find a way to engage with the Chamber more often. We have a strong Membership base, as well as, a diverse Board of Directors. Because of our Diversity, Members have access to a wide range of business acumen across of variety of business disciplines. In some respect, Members should leverage us as they would a Business Consultant. Increased engagement, will give all of us a way to leverage our intellectual property (business knowledge) for the betterment of every business owner and local community.
