May News & Events

Wow! Can you believe we are already in May?!

In May, we celebrate educators during Teacher Appreciation Week May 5-9. May is also National Mental Health Month, National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, and Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in the United States. The Kentucky Derby occurs on the first Saturday of May. May 1st is May Day, a day celebrating the coming of spring and fertility, as well as a day for labor.

For Star Wars fans: "May the 4th be with you!" Cinco de May is May 5th, Mother’s Day is May 11th; and Memorial Day is May 26th.

Many of you will be celebrating graduations, sports finales and assemblies, the last day of school, kids coming home from college and SO MUCH MORE this month!

Take a breath. Take time for yourself. You got this. ❤️
