May Highlight: CAP College Conference

Our College Awareness and Planning (CAP) program recently held its tenth annual College Planning Conference to help prepare high school aged youth for their next steps in the college planning process. This year the event took place at our Greater Dover Boys & Girls Club

and boasted over 60 students and families looking for information on

how to finance college and the various programs offered in Delaware.

Program Feature: Meet our 2023 Youth of the Year

Shianne Reams-Bennett has been named the George Krupanski Jr. 2023 Delaware Youth of the Year among six other finalists. The Youth of the Year title is a prestigious honor bestowed upon an exemplary young person in recognition of leadership, service, academic excellence and dedication to live a healthy lifestyle. Now in its 76th year, the Youth of the Year program honors our nation’s most awe-inspiring young people on their path to great futures and encourages all kids to lead, succeed and inspire.

Club Activity: Staff Night at the Wilmington Blue Rocks

Our staff recently enjoyed a night out at the Wilmington Blue Rocks! They brought their family members and friends to attend the doubleheader game on Star Wars night. Our staff were able to bond while showing off some of their Star Wars shirts and costumes!
