Dear Valued Patrons,

I am pleased to announce the Prattville branch is OPEN once more! Upon entry, you may notice a significant portion of the right side of the library is walled off. (We are eagerly awaiting the delivery of a mobile classroom to provide us with additional space for programs.) The building engineers will inspect our space every 6 weeks to ensure the building is safe for use.

Down the road, it is clear that a new library location will be necessary. We anticipate remaining in our current space for the next 2 - 3 years and are committed to keeping you informed as plans develop. In the interim, please consider supporting the library by visiting in-person, attending a program, volunteering or giving if you are able. Like many of you, I deeply value this community library. Regardless of our physical address, our mission remains the same: to provide a safe and inviting place where residents can interact with each other; find information about their community; investigate a wide range of topics pertaining to their work, school and lives; and develop a love of reading and learning that will continue throughout their lives.

Thank you for your patience, trust and continued support. I look forward to personally welcoming you back through the Autauga-Prattville Public Library doors.

Warm regards,

Tammy Bear
