PODS Testing and Development Program
PODS has launched a Testing and Development Program, providing a comprehensive approach for testing PODS standards and data models in a controlled, specified environment.
Under this program, some of PODS technical work will be contracted out to a PODS member organization through an RFP process. PODS Association is committed to a transparent, open, and fair process in solicitation, review, and selection of RFP submittals.

It is the PODS Association's intent to contract some technical work required by the Association, as recommended by the Technical Committee on Governance and/or the Board of Directors to accomplish organizational priorities and quicken the pace in data model and standards release.
PODS first RFP was issued in March for testing the PODS Esri APR data model. Eight proposals were submitted and TRC was the selected organization.
