Graduation
Congratulations to our spring graduates!
 
We are proud to serve as the primary training ground for the milling and processing industries, and we are excited to watch our graduates thrive in their new careers!

Welcome Aaron Clanton
Aaron Clanton will be joining the department as the Bakers National Education Foundation (BNEF) Instructor.

Aaron is a Milling Science and Management alum that comes to us with more than 20 years of experience in baking education, operations and management.
4-H Discovery Days
Faculty and staff hosted junior high and high school students for the 4-H Discovery Days on campus.

The students were able to learn about the different grain science majors, work in labs and tour the facilities.

Petfood Forum
Several students attended the Petfood Forum in Kansas City, Missouri. This unique event offers the opportunity to learn the latest research and innovative information on pet nutrition, global pet food market growth, pet food safety, processing and much more. Learn more about the conference here.
Awards and Recognitions
Congratulations to Yanting (Tina) Shen on receiving the student travel award at the 2019 AOCS meeting that was held in St. Louis, Missouri.
Congratulations to Ph.D. student, Heather Acuff, on receiving first place in the research poster session at Petfood Forum.
