Don't forget to check out the free training programs to help you prepare for your upcoming race. We have designed beginner training programs as well as intermediate training programs for the marathon, half marathon, 10K, and 5K distances. Developed by the Air Force Marathon, these programs will help guide your training towards a successful finish on the third weekend in September.

Veterans, retired military, active duty, reservists, National Guard, and ROTC of all branches will be offered $10 off the full marathon, half marathon, relay, and Fly! Fight! Win! Challenge Series, or $5 off the 10K or 5K for all in-person events.
All 2022 registered participants will receive an official race shirt (choice between short sleeve and long sleeve), access to the virtual goodie bag, and an optional complimentary commemorative patch. All 2022 finishers will receive a finisher medal, limited edition neck gaiter (finisher gift), and finish line refreshments.
Three Walker-friendly
Courses Available
Did you know the Air Force Marathon offers three race courses open to walkers!

Those who wish to walk can register for the 5K, 10K or half marathon events. They will have time limits of 90 minutes (5K); 3 hours, 30 minutes (10K); and 7 hours for the half marathon.

“For so many, the very brisk pace required to do a 10K or half-marathon is a deterrent from ever trying or participating in a race,” Air Force Marathon Director Brandon Hough said. “Designing our courses in such a way that makes them walker-friendly to all paces increases who can participate, which is perfectly in line with our values of being inclusive and accessible to as many people as possible.”
