Job Opportunity
The library has an opening for a Full Time Maintenance Worker position.

Starting pay is $15.29/hour and the position includes full Grand County benefits (medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D/LTD insurance, retirement savings options, pension plan, vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay).

Library Display: 150 Years Since John Wesley Powell Expedition
Now through June 15
Moab Library
Powell's 1869 journey down the Colorado River is commemorated in the library with a display of rare and historic materials from Utah State University's Special Collections and Archives.
Presented in partnership with USU's Center for Colorado River Studies and Utah State University Libraries.
KZMU Audio Book Club
We will be on air with Back of Beyond Books at 5pm on Monday, May 6 for KZMU's monthly Audio Book Club! We'll be discussing our latest bookish pursuits and upcoming local literary events.

Climbing writer Luke Mehall will discuss his new book The Desert: A Dirtbag Climbing Book . Luke is the publisher of The Climbing Zine , and the author of several books and articles on climbing.

The library will be showcasing the All-State High School Show, one of the Utah Arts and Humanities' traveling exhibits. The works selected for the exhibit illustrate the exceptional talent, diversity, originality, and creativity of Utah's young visual artists.

If you can't make it to the ArtWalk, the All State High School show will be on display at the library until June 11, 2019. For more information about the exhibit visit the Utah Division of Arts & Museums website.

What's Going On Down There?
A Presentation Sharing First-Hand Experience Volunteering on the US-Mexico Border

Do you ever wonder what's going on at the US-Mexico border? Joanna Onorato, a USU Master of Social Work student, will give a presentation to share her first-hand experience volunteering in Tijuana, Mexico with a non-profit organization offering outreach and support for asylum seekers.
