May Newsletter

Dear MMAMTA members,

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the end of spring semester!

We will have our Luncheon meeting on May 27th, as it is in our calendar. We will plan on meeting in person, however, if by any chance anyone doesn’t feel comfortable doing that due to COVID, we might do a hybrid meeting so more members can participate.

Ayako has suggested that we meet at Park Restaurant, which I thought it would be a good idea as it would be a little closer for our members who live in Jefferson City. Here is the restaurant’s menu: https://www.dineatpark.com/menu/

Please confirm if you will be coming to our meeting by May 15th so we can make reservations. If you would like to join us via video call, please let me know as well. You can confirm your presence by sending me an email (reisleme.renan@gmail.com)

The agenda for the meeting will be sent in separate email soon.

The wait is over.

Some of the most important conversations are packaged beautifully in a music program - that’s what “The Evolution of the African American Spiritual” has been, sharing of the souls.

Before we embark on Part 3 in Fall, tune into this bridge program that summarizes Part 1 and 2, with a reflection on the isolation period during the pandemic: hence, the title “Blessed Assurance.”
