Spring Has Sprung
Have you noticed new plants throughout the city?! Our horticulture team has been planting new perennials all month long. Over 10,000 plants will be planted throughout the city including the downtown area and across the parks system. These plants were also grown in-house allowing the city to plant double the amount of plant material compared to 2020 and save on costs.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating GJ Arbor Day! 400 seedlings were delivered to GJ residents the week of April 19th. Want to learn more about how to take care of your trees? Click the button below to watch our #GJArborDay videos.
