GIVING BACK AT THE ANNUAL GOLF EVENT |

We are very excited be coming together in less than a month for the 25th Annual MPI New Jersey Golf Event and hope you are too! If you haven’t made your plans already to attend this signature event, please make it a priority – it won’t be the same without you!
As part of our Golf Event, we have chosen to support First Tee of Raritan Valley and we hope you will join us in providing much needed supplies to this worthy organization. First Tee is an organization that promotes youth development through a life skills curriculum centered around the game of golf. The group supports children ages 5 to 18 and provides active learning experiences proven to help build inner strength, self-confidence and resilience. In 2022 First Tee Raritan Valley reached over 70,000 students across six counties in New Jersey.
To assist First Tee with their mission MPI New Jersey will be collecting used golf equipment including clubs, balls, training equipment, hand carts and gently used shoes at the golf event. If you have older equipment, you are no longer using this is a great opportunity to put these items to good use. In addition, if you are ordering hats, golf balls or t-shirts please consider bringing along a few extra items to donate to benefit First Tee. Representatives from the organization will be onsite with us for the Golf Event.

ANNUAL GOLF EVENT
MPI New Jersey's Signature Golf Event is back for a 25th year! We are excited to play one of New Jersey's best golf courses again, Wild Turkey at Crystal Springs Resort, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.
We only have a handful of golf foursomes left, so please do not delay and secure your spot today. If a traditional golf foursome feels intimidating, we have you covered. Our MPI New Jersey Golf Event offers a different opportunity to enjoy the event. Host a "Sip, Swing and Dine" foursome that includes a golf clinic, lunch, wine tasting, and attendance at our evening reception. Hosting a Golf or a Sip, Swing and Dine Foursome is the perfect way to entertain clients, showcase your business, and network with hospitality professionals.

To Go or Not to Go: Social Considerations for Event Locations
Deciding where to hold a major conference or meeting has always been driven by a complicated calculus for professional and trade association meeting organizers.
With state legislation on issues like abortion rights, restrictions on LGTBQ+ communities, and gun safety taking center stage, associations must now also weigh the impact of these laws on their meeting and attendees, in addition to more traditional considerations like cost, airlift, and amenities in a destination.
The June iteration of the Association Professionals Community Hot Topic Chat features different association leaders in discussion on diverse approaches to the social considerations that impact event location decision-making.
