The Whelden Library Redeemable Shed

Open 24/7 Recycle your redeemables and make a donation to your library.

Donating is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

  1. Bag up your clean, redeemable cans and plastic bottles!
  2. Drop them off at the recycling shed in the library parking lot.
  3. Congratulate yourself on a job well done!

What we can't take:

  • glass
  • water bottles (unless canned/bubble/seltzer)
  • most ciders, teas, and juices

Please be mindful that this is meant as a fundraiser for the library and not a recycling service. Non-redeemables dropped of at the shed adds an expense for the library for disposal.

Check the tops and sides of the cans for the MA designation stamp before donating!

Ellen's Book Review

Erica Ruth Neubauer's

Jane Wunderly Historical Mysteries

Neubauer’s Jane Wunderly series features an American war widow and sleuth in the 1920s. Each book has a different, interesting setting: Book 1 Murder at the Mena House, takes place in Egypt, 2 Murder at Wedgefield Manor at an English country manor, 3 Danger on the Atlantic on a voyage on the sister ship of the Titanic, and coming-soon book 4, Intrigue in Istanbul, in Istanbul. The books are best read in order so that you can follow the important relationships among the characters, especially intrepid Jane and her fiancé, the handsome Englishman Redvers.

"Jane is a delightful heroine, intelligent and adventurous, and the enigmatic Redvers is the perfect partner for her" — Vicki Kondelik
