Derartu Abate is the Lead Case Manager at the TIME @ Pinderhughes Womens Emergency Shelter. Also known as the Resident Whisperer, Derartu is kind, patient and resourceful.
Initially hired as an Administrative Assistant, her hard work, dedication and admirable work ethic helped to quickly promote her to the current position.
She provides guidance, support and direction to our high performance case management team, who have been repeatedly recognized by the Mayors Office of Homeless Services.
Derartu is a true asset to the Pinderhughes Team!
