This month, we have prepared tips on how create a flexible work culture, details about California's Equal Pay Act, and when to hold an interactive process discussion.

Here are some legal updates!

On April 30, the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued a trade release that could affect employers throughout the United States. All affected employers must submit injury and illness data on Form 300A by July 1, 2018. 

Does your company have independent contractors? California's new case Dynamex Operations West, Inc. v. Superior Court of Los Angeles establishes a new standard for an independent contractor test. With this case, the Court concluded that the the individual is presumed to be an employee unless the employer can prove otherwise. If you need assistance with classifying independent contractors, please give us a call!
