Parent Month!

Our 2019 Spring Show Parent Packet is going home this week. It will contain all of the information concerning Picture Day, Dress Rehearsal and the Show. Click the pink box above and/or visit the homepage of our website for an online version.
Parents will be invited to watch the last 5 minutes of class to see our recital dances and what they have been learning. Please wait outside until we come to get you.

Progress reports and our 2019/2020 schedule are being handed out during this week. We love progress reports because it gives us a chance to congratulate dancers achievements and help them grow as dancers. It also gives parents an insight into their education process and level placement.

Please understand dance is n ot linear. Growth isn’t measured by how quickly you advance in levels. It is about depth. Depth of understanding, knowledge, connection, awareness. Each student is placed where they will be most successful. Everyone is on their own timeline. At Fortitude all of our teachers utilize their knowledge and education in dance and child development when putting your dancer in their class level placement. We take class placement very seriously and it truly is in the best interest of your child that they are placed where they are placed.Should you have a question after your dancer is sent home with their class level placement & Progress Report please email Miss Jackee to arrange a time to talk to your dancer’s teacher so we can make sure everyone is on the same page.
There will be special happenings for moms all week. Keep a look out!
We work very hard to make Fortitude a wonderful place for everyone but we aren't perfect and we world like your help to improve. Please take our anonymous email survey to help us improve.
Father Daughter Dance
You asked and we delivered! We will be having a Father Daughter Dance in the show. Anyone can join. It is designed for Fathers and daughters to perform in our Spring Show together. If Mothers and Sons want to participate, they are more than welcome. $40 per family. The Father Daughter Dance will be featured in each show but families are only required to do one show.

Saturdays 10:15-10:45
5/4,6/8,6/15
Wednesdays 6:15-6:45
5/1, 5/15.

Families must attend 4 out of 5 rehearsals.

We have everything from flower bouquets to recital tees to shout out messages in our program. Shirts and flowers must be ordered a head of time we do not plan to sell "extras" at the show.

Summer Sessions
We have lots of fun and adventure planned for this Summer! Click the link below to see what we have to offer and keep your eyes open on social media as we announce all of our guest teachers. Refer a friend for the Summer and if they register you receive a $25 credit!

Superstar Dance!
Congrats to all of our dancers who made Superstar this season! As a reward, all Superstars are invited to participate in our finale dance in the recital. See times and requirements below.

Evelyn comes with her best foot forward to each class. She constantly has a smile on her face and has really been trying her best. Evelyn has most recently been working on pushing past her comfort zone. We are so proud.
