Do Good Week
Thanks a million for all of the donations and volunteer help during Do Good Week! After a day of hard work cleaning up the grounds and getting the community garden beds ready, we celebrated our volunteers with music in the Chapel while the College of St. Benedict and St John's Alums held a food drive for our pantry during Omaha's Benedictine Day of Service.
Donating is easy and contact-free. Simply pull up, pop your trunk and our volunteers will collect your donation right from the trunk. No need to get out of your vehicle.
All donations will benefit the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry, which served more than 13,000 metro area families in 2020. While all nonperishable items will be gratefully accepted, there is a special need for: Peanut butter & jelly, Canned vegetables, Cereal, Oatmeal, Pasta & pasta sauce, Crackers, Mac and cheese, Toilet paper, Diapers, Laundry soap.
Giving Gardens Project
The Giving Gardens Project is an opportunity for home gardeners to donate their excess produce to our neighbors in need. Completing this form will add you to the email list so you can remain connected and hear updates as the growing season progresses.

When your produce is ready for harvest, you can deliver it to one of our drop-off locations (map coming soon!), or we can arrange for a pick up. The produce will then be distributed at a food pantry in our community providing fresh, nutritious, local fruits and vegetables to struggling families.

*Note : We encourage you to grow your garden without the use of chemical pesticides to support our native pollinators.

We are thrilled to be one of this year's recipients of the Mayor's Neighborhood Grant. Funds will support the making and distributing of sack lunches from our vans on the streets of east Omaha.
THANK YOU for helping us continue this much needed work!
SUNDAY SESSIONS CONCERT SERIES
We are also excited to announce our partnership with the Omaha Musician's Association and the Music Performance Trust Fund to present a series of free concerts this summer.

Join us every Sunday May - August from 3:00-4:00 in our lovely Chapel space for professional music and fun with friends.
Seating will be very limited and social distance, and masks and a spacious well-ventilated room will be the order of the day. In addition to our human service provider partners, we are inviting singles and couples to RSVP for these free shows.

NOTE these will also be livestreamed so you can enjoy them from the comfort of your own home or small safe gathering, at your parish, and with friends!

SUNDAY MAY 9 - TRINITY TRIO
Swinging take on classic gospel tunes
Pianist Mark Nelson (Linoma Mashers, Jonesin', Blues Agent), drummer Paul Nelson (Railmen, Shasta Holland) and clarinetist Bob Zagozda (Bobby Z and Polka Joy, Mike Gurciullo/Ozone Big Band) will play and sing their swinging take on classic gospel tunes. Special Mother’s Day show!
Special thanks to the lovely Mary's who made curtains out of donated fabric for our Chapel. These will help cover our extra chair storage and absorb some of the sound in a large room full of wood. We are thrilled with how they came out and really appreciate the help.
