Hello all!


We are back with our Monthly Newsletter. We have a lot of exciting news to share with you this month. First this past weekend we received a letter from archbishop about pastoral changes coming July 1st. To read the letter click here. Next we had 7 young people get confirmed April 23rd. Read more about this and our Upcoming First Communion Mass below. You will also find updates and resource for Faith Formation and Youth Ministry. We are also looking for more volunteers for liturgical ministries and are planning some Trainings. Finally, the Annual Catholic Appeal has also kicked off. Please read more about all this and more below.

Rededication Ceremony


This past Sunday, May 1st we had a short rededication Ceremony following our 10am Mass. This was to reclaim and rededicate our St John Bosco Statue and our Neighborhood after we were victims of hateful vandalism at the end of April.

Liturgical Ministries


We are so happy to back to inperson Masses with ever growing attendance. Because of this we need more volunteers for all our Liturgical Ministries.

Upcoming Trainings

  • Eucharistic Minister Training Sunday June 5th following 10am mass
  • Fr Dave and Terri will be hosting this training for New EMs or those who would  a refresher.

Music Ministry


It has been great to have music at some of our Saturday and Sunday Masses and would love to have music at more of our Masses. If you have some musical talent, whether singing or an instrument, and you would like to share with the Parish, please use the form on our website to sign up. Music Volunteer
Homebound Ministry
Our Homebound Ministry is now in full swing. We have teams now going out to those parishioners that are homebound and are unable to make it out to receive the Eucharist and connect with others. We are continuing to recruit volunteers for this ministry, so please contact Terri Nelson if you would like to be part of this ministry. May 15th at 10am

Join us for our First Communion mass & a Parish Wide Pancake Breakfast following mass to celebrate.

May 21 at 5pm & May 22 at 10am

Join us for mass concelebrated by Fr. Dave and Fr. Fred Mayovsky, SJ followed by Anointing of the Sick for all who are in need.

Wed, May 25th at 1:00 pm 

Join the Knights of Columbus  in the Meditation Park Grotto for their Silver Rose Prayer Service.

Faith Formation and Youth Ministry

On April 23rd, we had our 7 confirmation Students receive Confirmation at St Frances Cabrini with  Bishop Eusebio Elizondo presiding. They were confirmed along with 64 youth from St Frances Cabrini.


If you are looking to have your student receive their confirmation we will be beginning classes in the Fall for all students in grades 7-12. For more information please email Cassie at [email protected] or check out our website.

First Communion


Sunday, May 15th we will be celebrating 8 First Communion Students who have been preparing for the sacrament this past year. They have concluded most of their preparation and excited to receive the Eucharist for the first time, May 15th. As the day approaches we ask that you keep these students and their families in your prayers.


We will be beginning a new Sacramental Preparation class in the fall. If you would like for your student to be involved  please reach out to Cassie at [email protected]. or visit our website.

Faith Formation

We will finish our Pflaum Gospel Weeklies on Sunday May 8th. So our Faith formation program will also be coming to an end but I have a variety of resources available on our website to continue your child's learning. I have also put together a short survey for you to complete. This includes information about the past year, this summer and next year.

MT 25 - Mission Trip - June 26-30th


The last week of June we will be hosting a hybrid Mission trip for all youth interested. What hybrid means is youth will be sleeping at home and commuting to different works sites in our area throughout the week. Formation will then be thru Zoom either at home or from the parish with youth from a couple other parishes participating as well. If you would like to participate please be sure fill out the form avaible on our website and turn it in by June 5th.

Annual Catholic Appeal


The Annual Catholic Appeal supports the ministries of the Archdiocese of Seattle like youth and young adult activities, faith formation for all ages, pastoral care in hospitals and prisons, and many more.

Year of the Family
Pope Francis established the Year of the Family, starting on March 19, 2021, on the Solemnity of St. Joseph. This marks the fifth anniversary of the publication of his Apostolic Exhortation, Amoris Laetitia, which means "The joy of love" and explores the beauty and joy found in family life.
