A Special Mother's Day Brunch
We had an unforgettable Mother's Day celebration! On May 7th, The LOHM partnered with Ja Rule, the REFORM Alliance, and Sei Less to host a special brunch for 40 justice-impacted mothers and their children. It was an afternoon filled with heartfelt stories, delicious food, and inspiring conversations.
Ja Rule, who has a deep personal connection to the challenges faced by single mothers, shared his experiences and emphasized the importance of resilience and support. The event highlighted the incredible strength and determination of the women we serve, and it was a beautiful reminder of the power of community and solidarity.
A huge thank you to Ja Rule, Sei Less, and the REFORM Alliance for making this event possible. Together, we are creating moments of joy and empowerment for justice-impacted families.

Mother's Day Makeover with

On May 11, 2024, Katwalk Boutique in Baltimore, Maryland, hosted its annual Women's Day Celebration Makeover Contest. Participants Crystal and Shelita, were awarded a full makeover experience, including a new designer outfit, professional makeup and hair services, and a gift bag. The event aimed to honor and uplift justice-impacted mothers, recognizing their resilience and strength.
