Kwani Winder

at the MAA Studio in Midway Town Hall

Kwani Povi Winder is a young artist with a passion for learning and creating. She graduated with a BFA in oil painting from BYU-Idaho in 2013 and has been painting ever since. She calls herself a stay-at-home artist as she is always creating with her daughters at her side.

Kwani’s paintings are characterized by deep emotions and vibrant colors. Her subject matters primarily include figures and landscapes. Her work is heavily influenced by being an enrolled member of the Santa Clara Pueblo Tewa Tribe. Kwani’s work often contains spiritual and reverent undertones as she uses art to further understand and deepen her relationship with her creator. She resides in Southeast Idaho with her husband and two daughters.

Willing to host an artist?

We will host many visiting artists in Heber Valley during Wasatch Plein Air Paradise, June 21-July 5. Some have asked about the possibility of staying with local families instead of at hotels or resorts. If you have any extra space and would be willing to host an artist, please let us know at MidwayArtAssociation@gmail.com

Meeting Demo Lineup for 2025!



We have an excellent lineup of guest artists who will be demonstrating at our monthly meetings in 2025. Meetings are normally held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm. Some meetings will be available by Zoom, while some will be in person. Everyone is welcome to attend. Details will be sent in the newsletter prior to each meeting.
