A New Home for Brianna and Family

Brianna* and her children are happily settling into their new home after a long journey of living in shelters and moving from city to city in New Jersey. Brianna had an additional challenge of a language barrier, but with the right assistance and perseverance she was able to secure a special place for her and her family.

Sparrow House was on the scene with furnishings, housewares, and more, and had the joy of turning the new space into a warm home. It was a joyful celebration when Brianna and her children entered their new home for the first time!

MHCC Student Ministry

A huge thank-you to Mendham Hills Community Church Student Ministry for making 340 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for those we serve! Each sandwich included a handwritten encouraging note to lift a spirit!

They were a big hit and we saw many smiles from those feeling cared for and valued!

Little Hands, Big Impact



Meet Tyler! He is eight years old and ran a lemonade stand by his home to support the mission of Sparrow House and people experiencing homelessness. Tyler raised enough money to buy 200 oranges and 150 pounds of bananas! We are so proud of him for this tremendous accomplishment, but mostly for his caring heart for others who are in need. Thank you Tyler!

Are you looking for something fun to do on a Friday afternoon? Our commercial kitchen at our center in Mendham is now complete, and we welcome you to come out and join us in preparing meals together for families and individuals in need.
