ICYMI: Chenango County Public Transit began operation on
Monday, 3/9/2026.
There are 6 routes in Chenango County.
Route 1: City of Norwich
Route 2: Greene (Oxford, Brisben, Smithville Community Center, Greene, Walmart)
Route 3: Afton/Bainbridge (Guilford, Mt. Upton, Sidney, Bainbridge, Afton)
Route 4: South Otselic (South Plymouth, East Pharsalia, South Otselic, Preston Manor, Walmart)
Route 5: New Berlin (South New Berlin, New Berlin)
Route 6: Sherburne (Catholic Charities, North Norwich Fire House, Sherburne Senior Housing, Earlville, Sherburne Bus Stop)
The bus stop for the CDO Workforce Center/South Plaza is across the street at Price Chopper. We are monitoring the usage of the bus for our office. If we notice that there is a significant use, we will ask for a bus stop at the CDO Workforce Center.
