2. Examine stigmatized beliefs about patients suffering from SUD – housed and unhoused – and the challenges this creates in seeking treatment.

3. Learn about effective treatment strategies for those with SUD, using local resource experts and other resources. Learn the basics of Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).

The 2024 All Hands Whatcom Summit is a two-day community summit focused on learning from our community’s youth and the organizations and individuals who support them.

The programming will highlight community voices, promote shared learning around systems of prevention and support, and amplify innovative strategies that support our youth into healthy and thriving adulthood.

WHO

Everyone! We all have a role to play in cultivating a community where our children, youth, and young adults thrive. Making these changes and investments will require all of us - policy makers, teachers, funders, parents, families, neighbors, elders, schools, government leaders, youth, service providers, and most importantly, YOU!
