As we celebrate America's 250th birthday, join local historian Jim Segrave-Daly for a lively discussion of the heroic men and women who played critical roles in America's founding. From George Washington to Abigail Adams and others, each patriot's contributions helped to forge our nation's revolutionary beginnings.

Jim (thelocalhistorygeek.com) has presented nationally over the past 15 years. With deep family connections to the American Revolution, he is an active member of Radnor Historical Society, American Revolution Roundtable of Philadelphia, Founding Forward, America250PADelco, and a volunteer history teacher.

May Art Gallery: Janet Stern

Janet Stern Paintings

Janet Stern, a graduate of the Hartford Art School, developed a technique in which she etches into wet paint to create an initial image. After the paint dries, she employs many methods of applying more paint to produce the whimsical works. There are several major series that comprise the remaining inventory of approximately 500 pieces, both on canvas and paper. All works employ a combination of acrylic and enamel paint.
