Lion King Kids – Williamson Elementary School students recently gave a heartwarming performance of the Circle of Life, with an African desert backdrop and colorful costumes and props.

Pinewood Derby Race – Cub Scout Pack 387 held this annual race at the Grange as scouts from other Sacramento-area troops looked on. Each car was carved and crafted by individual participants.

Environmental Awareness – Students from George Washington Carver High School joined the Sacramento Tree Foundation on a field trip to the Franklin Channel where students learned through hands-on experience about our region’s waterways, habitat restoration, native vegetation and more.

Little League Fields Renovated
The city, Folsom Cordova Unified School District, Cordova Recreation & Park District, and Rancho Cordova Little League completed renovations to the little league fields at Cordova Lane Center and Ahlstrom Park, just in time for the beginning of the season. Learn more

White Rock Road Under Construction
Construction begins this month to improve roadway safety and support regional economic growth on White Rock Road from Sunrise Boulevard to Fitzgerald Road. Completion is expected this summer. Learn more
