Single Family Home Sales for April 2018
Although we are well into the Spring market, the activity remains unremarkable with minimal changes in values and sales numbers. In April we had 289 sales reported on the MLS in the 9 towns. Sales of over $2.0 million represented about 10% of the market while sales of below $1.0 million represented about 67% of the market . Average market times for selling are over 100 days in all towns with Westport and Wilton reporting market times of over 200 days. Sales numbers remain highest in the more diverse markets of Fairfield, Norwalk and Stamford with Westport typically in 4th place.
