Environmental groups and Indigenous Nations across Alberta set to receive up to $500K in local grant.


Alberta Ecotrust Foundation is proud to announce the 2023 recipients of its Environmental Impact Grant, supporting innovative and impactful projects that address the pressing environmental challenges facing Alberta today.


After a two-stage application and review process, Alberta Ecotrust Foundation's Environmental Advisory Committee selected ten projects to receive grants of $50,000 each.

On the occasion of the Montréal 2023 Climate Summit, Low Carbon Cities Canada (LC3) announced major support from the McConnell Foundation.


This funding from the McConnell Foundation is a testament to the important role that philanthropic support and partnerships can offer in the acceleration of equitable climate solutions across Canada.


As a member of the LC3 Network, Alberta Ecotrust Foundation is thankful for this major support that will enable us to continue to support urban climate change projects in Alberta.

2023 Montréal Climate Summit
