Building More Than Homes: Investing in the Future

At House to Home Solutions, we believe exceptional craftsmanship begins with investing in people. That’s why Daniel has long been passionate about Workforce Development within the Professional Remodeling Industry and helping inspire the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

Daniel currently serves as Chairman of Workforce Development for the Professional Remodeling Organization (PRO) Mid-Atlantic and sits on the Board of the PRO National Workforce Development Foundation, as well as the Construction Trades Foundation (CTF). Through these organizations, he has worked to strengthen awareness, education, and opportunities surrounding careers in the skilled trades — an industry that continues to offer rewarding, lifelong career paths.

One of the most inspiring examples of this mission in action is the annual Student Built House Project led by the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Construction Trades Foundation. This remarkable program gives architecture and construction trade students the opportunity to design and build a home entirely from the ground up — providing invaluable real-world experience that simply cannot be replicated in a classroom.

This year’s project carried especially deep meaning. The home’s design was created by architecture student Marian Espinoza, whose work was selected shortly before his tragic passing. At just 19 years old, Marian left behind an extraordinary legacy through his creativity, talent, and passion for architecture. The 2025 home was named “YA44” — recognizing both the 50th anniversary of the program and the 44th student-built home completed through this incredible initiative.

This past Tuesday, May 26th, Daniel was honored to attend the Cornerstone Open House Ceremony, where students, instructors, community leaders, and supporters gathered to celebrate the completion of the home. MCPS Superintendent Dr. Thomas Taylor joined the ceremony to recognize the achievements of the students involved and set the commemorative Cornerstone. Over 600 students participated in various aspects of the project over the course of two years, gaining hands-on experience in architecture, construction, project management, and skilled trades.

Programs like this are critical to the future of our industry. Beyond teaching technical skills, they help young adults develop confidence, discipline, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities that will serve them throughout their lives — whether they pursue careers in construction or apply these lessons elsewhere.

At House to Home Solutions, we are proud to support initiatives that elevate the skilled trades and create meaningful opportunities for future generations. The craftsmanship, dedication, and teamwork displayed by these students are a powerful reminder that the future of our industry is bright.

We extend our congratulations to every student, instructor, sponsor, and volunteer who helped bring this project to life.

Daniel and his team assisted with interior design and material and fixture selection and acquisition. As well as finding sponsors to donate materials and fixtures for the house build. Many Sponsors helped this year by contributing materials to the house build. A special thanks to Delta/Brizo, Bellwith Keeler Hardware, ABW Appliances, Conestoga Tile, Next Floor, Rosel-Heck, Ferguson, Scantinique Home, PRO Metro DC and House to Home Solutions for your contributions. Programs like this get little assistance from the state and county school system and need donations and volunteers to make the program possible. If you are interested in helping out please reach out to Daniel.

Before and After

Home Gym in Bethesda, MD - A Place for the Whole Family

This renovation in Bethesda, Maryland was a complete makeover of the make shift home gym storage room. They wanted a bright and welcoming space for the entire family to be able to workout. Yet wanted to have a space that was fun but had some gridiron industrial elements. Unfinished exposed ceiling with Matte Black paint provided just that. The rubber floor provided for a safe workout area for weights and mat work. While the LVP flooring provided a perfect amount of dance space. Proper lighting helps eliminate the basement feel you had before. A touch of Race memorabilia adds color and excitement to the room. Large mirrors allow confirmation of proper form.

What Our Clients Are Saying…

I would definitely recommend House to Home Solutions to a friend or anyone. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. The design phase worked out very well and they suggested many ideas to the floor plan, lighting and kitchen/bathroom design that we may not have thought of. We love how it all turned out. They were very communicative and responsive to any/all questions and concerns we had. And the quality of work is great. Overall a very satisfying experience.”
