  Kathleen Lahey: Gender and Taxes in Alberta

Do you have questions about income inequality? Have you seen anti-feminist reactions to the economic crisis? Want to learn more about how taxes can affect women and men differently? Professor Kathleen Lahey is a leading Canadian scholar on gender and economic policy.
Join us at 6pm for a half-hour meet and greet, followed by Lahey's talk and time for questions.

The Women's Centre is taking part in a panel with Kathleen Lahey and Majorie Griffin Cohen on Gender and Economic Insecurity in Alberta at the 2016 Congress of Humanities and Social Sciences. We'll be talking about taxes, policy and women. This is the opening session for a full day on gender and sexual security.
