Subaru of Las Vegas Celebrates Earth Week with Clean Up & Farmers' Market
Celebrating the earth’s bounty and keeping it green were the goals of Subaru of Las Vegas’ Earth Week activities this year. Employees spent a morning at Exploration Peak Park picking up trash and ended the week hosting a farmers' market and recycling event featuring locally made and organic products. The videos below highlighted both events on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.
Spring is Buzzing at Green Dealer Support
What's the buzz at Green Dealer Support? Bees! CEO Chuck Golden, pictured above, started his first hive last month with more than 12,000 honeybees, and he's since added a second hive.

"Green Dealer Support is here to help auto dealers go green, but we also want to embrace eco-friendly practices," said Golden. "The bees are our latest contribution, as pollinators are a big part of environmental sustainability."

The bees from these two hives will pollinate flowers, gardens, and fruit trees up to two miles away. Golden says Green Dealer Support's next eco-friendly project will be the addition of flowers and a vegetable garden, which should thrive with the help of all the bees.

As previously noted, participation in the survey or webinar is completely VOLUNTARY and not required for Eco-Friendly Retailer status.
Subaru of America and Philadelphia Union to Make Subaru Park the First-ever Zero Landfill Stadium in MLS
Subaru of America, Inc., in partnership with the Philadelphia Union, announced that the automaker will bring its established zero landfill knowledge to Subaru Park, home of the Union, making it the first zero landfill stadium in MLS.

While sports stadiums across the country generate massive amounts of trash that go into landfills, through the partnership with Subaru and the Union, Subaru Park aims to become the first MLS Zero Landfill stadium where no trash is sent to a landfill.
