Here is a fun unique ride that we know you will enjoy. The Crank Stranger is a new gravel ride starting at Huff Brewery in Bellville on Saturday, March 25th. This ride offers a great way to enjoy the quiet country roads with distances of 30 & 50 miles.

Registration is only $30 and includes post ride meal and beverage. This ride was originally planned in April, but was postponed due to weather. The ride benefits CASA for Kids of
South Central Texas, this non-profit assists kids in child protective services. Sign-up quickly, pre-registration closes on May 22nd at 10pm.

Trek Travel in Texas! Trek has recently launched an amazing trip right here in our own backyard. Come join Trek Travel for an amazing cycling vacation in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas.

For the first time in Texas, Trek is offering a 4 day and 7 day ride camp. These trips are a short drive from Houston and will offer some incredible accommodations and riding. BCycle Celebration!
Keep Houston Rolling

Join Houston BCycle at Saint Arnolds Beer Garden for a fundraising celebration. They will have FREE drink coupons for those that donate, t-shirts and hats for sale, GOLD Sprints stationary cycling races and some great raffle prizes. Grab a friend or loved one and join the fun.

Houston Bike Share is the local non-profit supporting the Houston BCycle bikes. Now with over 600 bikes and 90 stations, Houston BCycle is an important part of Houston cycling. They appreciate your support!
Memorial Park Crit starts on June 5th and will run every Wednesday through August 28th. This is a 13 week race series that has been in Houston since the early days of cycling! Memorial Park provides an incredible place to enjoy the weekly races and is a great way to enjoy a summer evening.

There are 4 races every evening, starting at 5pm with the last race rolling out at 7:15pm. Races take place on the picnic loop, with plenty of great places to watch with friends and family. Bring a meal or enjoy food from the weekly food truck. If you don't know much about racing, this is a great place to discover the fun of bike racing.

BP MS 150 was an amazing weekend. The ride was blessed with great weather and there were more riders out in 2019 than last year...making it even more fun!

Our team, of course, had a tremendous time from the beginning. It began with our private start at Rhodes stadium, from there we enjoyed great food, plenty of refreshments and hot coffee on Sunday morning.

Finish in Austin was fun with burgers, beer and "recoveritas" . Check out the pictures.
H ouston Grand Criterium

On Cinco de Mayo, Bike Barn hosted the largest Criterium Race in Texas. It was a blast with great racing, great weather and an amazing festive atmosphere. If you weren't able to make it on May 5th, we have plenty of pictures to share.

We were even joined by mayoral candidate Bill King. He was there to congratulate the men's category 1,2,3 winners!


Come join BikeHouston at their annual Bike Summit on May 17th & 18th. This summit recognizes those in the cycling community that are enriching Houston for all cyclists.

Friday the 17th is a luncheon recognizing Ready to Roll and their contribution to cycling. Saturday the 18th will be a cycling festival with multiple cycling vendors and advocacy groups. Bike Barn will be there with Free eBike demos!
Come join Bike Barn and hundreds of cyclists as we celebrate Bike to Work Day, on May 17th. The City of Houston will hold a celebratory event & ride starting from City Hall at 7:00am.

Bike Barn will be there helping with bikes and sharing eBike rides for those wanting to test the best. There will be food, fun and always some interesting news about cycling and Houston's future.
Cigna Sunday Streets Houston is an initiative to promote and improve the health of Houstonians. Sunday Streets opens a stretch of streets normally reserved for cars and other vehicles to allow cycling, walking, dancing, socializing and provides a family-friendly opportunity to be physically active. eBike Challenge - BP MS 150

Bike Barn was honored to help the MS Society and three riders living with Multiple Sclerosis participate in the 2019 BP MS 150. Armed with eBikes from Bike Barn, these riders made the inaugural year for the eBike Challenge a huge success.

These pedal assist bikes provide a small amount of assistance, which enabled these riders to complete the 2-day ride to Austin. To ride a pedal assist bike you must pedal the whole ride, the assistance enables those with limited fitness or other limitations the ability to achieve amazing things. We thank the MS Society for including us in such a creative and rewarding program.
