Who should take this course?
This is a great course for new club hires or those who may want to volunteer with your club. They learn important safety tips and basic canoeing skills.
Playing on sports fields that are too wet is a major reason for injury to players and to facilities. This course talks about this major problem and other areas including pitcher’s mound, home plate and bullpen areas, base paths, and infield maintenance. This is a practical course combined with classroom instruction. Various pieces of equipment will be described, and methods will be demonstrated on field where possible. Turf Management has been added to examine best practices for the care of sports turf.
