Do you have an idea for an event or activity you'd like to see at your Redwood City Public Library? Are you interested in helping us celebrate the diversity of our community? You and your friends are invited to TAKE OVER the Library!
Library Takeover will provide small one-time grants of up to $1,000 to groups of people in the Redwood City and North Fair Oaks communities who have an idea for a Library program or event that will help us reach and connect with people in the community who don't currently use the Library. Teams selected for the grants will receive help from Library staff in the development and delivery of their library programs. The goal of Library Takeover is to create more Library activities that help everyone in our community see the Library as a welcoming place and a valuable resource.

HELP US DESIGN OUR MAKERSPACE
We are exploring the possibility of a Makerspace and a Co-Working space. We're looking for community feedback!
A Makerspace is a community-operated workspace where people with common creative interests, often in computers, technology, science, art or electronic art, crafts, and sewing, can meet, socialize, and collaborate. As we plan for this space, we are considering programs and training classes to go along with a Makerspace.
A Co-Working space is a place to share equipment, ideas and knowledge. It also provides a flexible meeting space for individuals.
As we explore the possibilities for this space, we are gathering your input. We'd appreciate your feedback! Take the short survey
