Summer is coming around the corner!

The slide will be open, and there will be summer movie nights, swim classes, and more for the kids to do. If there is a club you would like to start, please email arcasocialcommittee@gmail.com and see if the clubhouse or field is available for you.

I was proud to see neighbors helping neighbors after the storm a couple of weeks ago. The office did a great job of putting up the temporary fence expeditiously and communicating the damage and expectations. That's what makes our community so great, working together and showing patience when something goes wrong.

There will be updates to the entrance monuments coming soon. They have been due for a facelift for some time.

The scholarship committee announced the winners at the board meeting last week. Although the board voted to give $1000 to a high school senior, we had a generous donation from Lea Arndt and Lavenia Johnson, Broker Associates with eXp Realty, of $1000 that the committee split up to give two more scholarships. The winners were Leah Plewe, Emily Hernandez, and Anna Borden. The board and the committee wish all of the ARCA graduating seniors the best.

The next board meeting is May 25th, and as always, I'm available by email for any questions or comments :)

The Kiddie pool water feature is up and running with the new pump.

Fence debris cleanup and replacement will begin Tuesday, 5/2, in the affected areas.

Slide will open Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day!! Closed Mondays.

**NEW Board Meeting Date**

Board meetings will now be on the last Thursday of the month and will start at 530pm.

The board meeting will be held in person at the ARCA Amenity Center. A zoom link will be provided for those who cannot attend in person.

Training By Carol is back this summer. To register go to her Facebook page Training By Carol for the link which will be posted on April 1, 2023.

Sessions are 2 weeks long meeting M-TH with F as a makeup ONLY if the instructor has to cancel a class. Classes are 30 minutes running back to back from 8:00-10:00 am depending on age/ability. Sessions will be canceled or not be as many classes if not enough registrations and we do not hit the minimum number of students. The fee is $135 per swimmer per session with a $5 discount if paying cash. The $25 nonrefundable deposit is due upon registration, and the remainder is due on day one.

S3 June 5-16 (Instructor: Carol)

S4 June 19-30 (Instructor: Carol)

S5 July 10-21 (Instructor: Colby)

S6 July 24-August 4 (Instructor: Colby)

S7 August 7-18 (Instructor: Carol)

If you are unable to do any of these sessions because of scheduling conflicts, Carol offers sessions at her home only 5 miles from our pool. She offers Parent/tot classes, evening sessions as well as weekend sessions. Colby is also available to teach private lessons at our pool at other times of the day as well. Dependent on age groups a class will have four students for the youngest age and up to five or six for older ages. Lessons will run M-TH from 8:00-10:00 am. Registrants must be a member in good standing with the Management Company and have your own access to the swimming pool.

Graduation Signs will be allowed from now until the last day in July
Happy Birthday Signs will be allowed on the property for 48 hours max
Political Signs are only allowed during the time of election and can only be placed on the property 90 days before and 14 days after Election Day.
