Legislative Wrap‑Up Summary

The Caroline County Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Legislative Wrap‑Up Breakfast on April 29, bringing together all seven members of the District 36 and 37 delegations for a focused discussion on the 2026 General Assembly session. Each legislator shared updates on their committee work and key policy areas, including health, education, agriculture, business regulation, workforce needs, utilities, and budget impacts for Caroline County. Moderated by Bob Zimberoff, the conversation highlighted how statewide decisions intersect with local priorities, with follow‑up questions centered on regional impacts, upcoming issues to watch, and what matters most to Caroline County residents and employers.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Town of Federalsburg and the Federalsburg Lions Club for their outstanding hospitality and support in hosting this year’s event. Their partnership helped create a welcoming space for meaningful dialogue between our business community and elected officials.
