2022 Pot of Gold Luncheon:
Rainbow Days was thrilled to host our 25th annual Pot of Gold Luncheon at the Omni Dallas Hotel on April 29. On this festive Friday afternoon, around 500 guests gathered to raise a total of $258,775 for Rainbow Days' programs through sponsorships, donations, auction bidding and individual tickets.

The luncheon featured a moving keynote address from author Caylin Moore, who inspired the audience with his personal story of overcoming adversity and his mission to leave the world better than he found it.

Thank you to all who supported Rainbow Days at the 2022 Pot of Gold Luncheon!
The luncheon also featured the launch of the Rainbow Days Ring of Honor to formally recognize a group of remarkable individuals and agencies who have demonstrated long-standing support of Rainbow Days.

At the luncheon, 10 honorees were inducted into the Ring of Honor in recognition of their decades of faithful service, generous gifts or extraordinary partnership.

The 2022 inductees are: Nancy Ann Hunt, Jill & Dale Hurd, Joy & Roger Beless, Karen Williams, Wade Brown, Lovers Lane United Methodist Church, Dallas ISD, Richardson ISD, Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD and Citi.
Family Connection Spotlight:
It's Summer! Join the Fun!
This summer, the Family Connection team is excited to host three weeks of unique summer day camps for hundreds of homeless children living at shelters, transitional living sites and motels in the Dallas area. At each of these camps, children will enjoy exciting learning experiences and receive positive support from adult mentors through classes focused on STEM education, performing and visual arts, and outdoor recreation.

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with setup, lunch and cleanup at two of our camps. Spots are limited, so click the links below to learn more and register:

Please note: Per Rainbow Days' policy, all interested volunteers must complete a volunteer application and pass a criminal background check prior to volunteering at an event with children present. Please contact Sunni Roaten with questions about volunteering.
In August, Rainbow Days will host our 31st annual Back-to-School Celebration for children at partnering shelter sites in the community. There, children will receive new backpacks, school supplies and uniforms to set them up for success in the new school year. An estimated 1,300 students in need will benefit from this event as well as deliveries of tangible supplies to partnering sites.

We are currently seeking donations of new backpacks and school supplies as well as volunteers for the 2022 Back-to-School Celebration. Click the links below to learn more and sign up to make a difference in students' lives today:
