Family Connection Spotlight:
It's Summer! Join the Fun!
This summer, the Family Connection team is excited to host three weeks of unique summer day camps for hundreds of homeless children living at shelters, transitional living sites and motels in the Dallas area. At each of these camps, children will enjoy exciting learning experiences and receive positive support from adult mentors through classes focused on STEM education, performing and visual arts, and outdoor recreation.

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with setup, lunch and cleanup at two of our camps. Spots are limited, so click the links below to learn more and register:

Please note: Per Rainbow Days' policy, all interested volunteers must complete a volunteer application and pass a criminal background check prior to volunteering at an event with children present. Please contact Sunni Roaten with questions about volunteering.
In August, Rainbow Days will host our 31st annual Back-to-School Celebration for children at partnering shelter sites in the community. There, children will receive new backpacks, school supplies and uniforms to set them up for success in the new school year. An estimated 1,300 students in need will benefit from this event as well as deliveries of tangible supplies to partnering sites.

We are currently seeking donations of new backpacks and school supplies as well as volunteers for the 2022 Back-to-School Celebration. Click the links below to learn more and sign up to make a difference in students' lives today:
