We have always known that King of Prussia’s solid foundation would help it weather difficult storms, as it has in the past. But in these unprecedented times, we have never been more proud of our community. From the generosity shown towards those in dire need, to the quick-thinking and creative business pivots made in order to better serve the community, KOP’s strength and resilience has been on full display these past few weeks.
The recent $50,000 donation to Upper Merion Area Community Cupboard by First Quality and the newly announced #RaiseYourGlass campaign from Workhorse Brewing Company to support charities and restaurant workers, are perfect examples of a community coming together despite their own struggles to lift one another up. Business model pivots, like those at Founding Farmers and Fogo de Chao, who are now offering mini grocery markets for curbside pick-up and delivery, show how restaurants are thinking creatively in order to keep their doors open. These are just a few examples of the many stories we’ve heard this month that bring light and hope to an otherwise uncertain time.
Finally, words cannot fully express our appreciation and gratitude for the front line and essential workers that are risking their own health and safety to keep our community running. As you’ll read below, we are proud to partner with Upper Merion Township for
We See You, KOP
, a campaign honoring KOP’s essential heroes. While we will initially celebrate our honorees virtually, we look forward to the day when we can bring everyone together to thank them in person.
King of Prussia District is proud of our community’s culture of innovation and compassion. This month, we are using this platform to share positive stories that remind us all that, despite everything, we will come out of this stronger, together.
