SAFETY!
Dear BDC Family & Friends,

Happy May! As we move ever faster towards the Summer, SAFETY is on the front of our minds at BDC. We are assessing our physical plant, addressing trees that have fallen throughout the Winter and roots that have poked through the soil trying to trip us when we aren’t looking. In addition to SAFETY issues that we can see, we are incredibly conscious of those that we can’t.

COVID has presented us with the opportunity to redevelop our policies, protocols, and procedures in every aspect of health, SAFETY, and wellness. We are working with every resource available at the federal, state, and local level including the American Camp Association, the Massachusetts Camping Association, state and local Departments of Health, and our own team of nurses, doctors, and specialists in developing and improving the health and SAFETY of everybody on our campus.

We are excited to announce the results of months of work and dedication by our team and the entire community. In the coming weeks, we will roll out our new screening, sanitation, and disinfecting procedures, as well as policies designed to keep your whole family SAFE and happy at Brewster Day Camp this summer.

If you have any questions about how we plan to keep your family SAFE this summer, please reach out to our Winter Office Team!

Sending you an abundance of Courage, Hope, Good Spirit & Peace!

Sincerely,

Daniel Michel
