Beyond the nutritional benefits of fresh produce and saving money by growing your own vegetables, gardening is good for your physical, mental, and emotional health.
DIY Home Gardening Initiative Community advocates from across the city have come together to make it as easy as possible by identifying resources that help and guide you with step-by-step information about how to plant, tend, and harvest your yard or container/pot gardens.
The community is encouraged to plant an additional row in their gardens and donate the extra produce to fight hunger.
