Call for Football Volunteers
Spring is in the air and with that comes our favourite outdoor activities, like football season. Each year, Women's Centre volunteers usher Stampeders football games to raise funds for the Women's Centre.
Volunteers usher one game per month from June to November. For each game, we need between 36-40 women and men to sign up for 4-5 hours of volunteering. Individuals and groups are welcome. You get to enjoy the outdoors, watch a great game, and support women in your community all at the same time!
Click here if you are interested in volunteering.

Canada's Poverty Reduction: Community Engagement
 |
The Government of Canada has launched an online consultation process to engage with Canadians on key issues related to poverty. We are organizing a community engagement session so you have a chance to brainstorm answers to the survey's main questions with other women in your community. We'll talk about what poverty looks like in your neighbourhood, what your experiences are, and what changes you'd like to see. There will then be time available for you to submit your own official response on computers provided.
No children in this workshop please.
