Our next quarterly OER Stakeholder Virtual Coffee Hour will feature special guest Dave Cormier, a learning specialist for digital strategy and special projects at the University of Windsor's Office of Open Learning.


We will talk with Dave about his new book Learning in a Time of Abundance, effects of AI on Open Education, and about the hybrid #ShrugCon event coming in July.

Save the Date......and strike a pose for Framing Open: The ART of Open Education, the 2024 MI OER conference, organized by the MI OER Network. This event will be held at Grand Rapids Community College on Friday, September 20, 2024. A call for proposals, keynote speaker announcement, and additional details will be available soon. We look forward to exhibiting the creative, classic, innovative, and/or artful expressions of Open Education advocates and practitioners at our in person conference this Fall.

The 2024 Open Education Conference (OpenEd24) will be held as a hybrid event, with in-person attendance hosted in Providence, RI, USA, and virtual attendance welcomed from across the globe. As the conference’s 21st annual gathering, OpenEd24 will continue to deliver an engaging virtual event with the option to attend in-person for the first time since 2019.
