What's Happening in Medway this Week?
Medway Lions
Please help the community this Saturday, February 2nd by putting out your redeemable bottles and cans by 8:00 am at the end of your driveway. The Lions will swing by to pick them up. All funds will be reinvested into our community! Currently only 3% of Medway residents participate in this monthly can drive. Let's see if we can do better! More info.
MFPA - Bake Sale
Please join the Medway Friends of the Performing Arts on Sunday to pick up your dessert before your super bowl party. We will be at Shaw's in Medway on February 3rd from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Win musical tickets and prizes. Proceeds support all Medway musical theatre productions, purchase of equipment and instruments, music field trip transportation, lessons, scholarships and more! Medway Public Library
I nterested in learning more about wildlife? Come to The State of Massachusetts Wildlife presentation on Thursday, February 7th from 7:00 - 8:00 PM at the Medway Public Library, 26 High Street. You will learn about recent research on changes in wildlife, meet two live representatives of species that are experiencing dramatic changes, and and have a chance to see and touch artifacts. Suitable for adults, teens and older elementary aged children. Register here!
Medway High School Youth Group
Do you have a prom or semi formal dress you would like to donate? Medway High School Youth Group is currently accepting dress donations or choose to split sale of your dress 50-50 from now until Feb 6th. Medway Community Education
Our First Aid courses have been so popular that Community Education has decided to expand our course offerings. We are now proud to offer a course called, Stop The Bleed. In this class, you will learn effective bleeding control techniques for various wounds using special bandage and tourniquets. Medway Public Library
Have you ever wondered how fossils are formed or how scientists figure out how old a specimen is? Well then, this class is for you! Join us in the Makerspace at the Medway Public Library, 26 High St. on Thursday, February 14th from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM. 2nd graders and up are invited to join in on this exciting class we call, Fascinating Fossils! This p rogram is co-sponsored by the Medway Public Library and 4-H Science Explorers. Registration is Required
Medway Community Education
Join F.A.S.T. Athletics for 3 days of fun and fitness over February vacation, February 19th - February 21st. Do you enjoy playing handball, soccer, polo and dodge ball? Each session includes proper stretching and warm-up games, instruction on the basic skills of each sport, and a high-energy game of the sport played that day in a safe and fun environment. Grades 1-4 are welcome. Register Now!

1st graders and up are welcome to build lego creations in the Cole Room of the Medway Public Library, 26 High St from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM. The next Wednesday night session is February 27th . All creations will be displayed in the library.

Ready to try something new, exciting and engaging? Learn the sport of recurve archery. This course will take you on a journey through the fundamentals needed to succeed in the sport with fun skill building drills and games mixed into each lesson. MSPTO
The Medway Secondary PTO's next meeting will be on February 28th at 7:30 PM at the Medway Middle School Library, 45 Holliston Street. The MSPTO is a parent volunteer organization which funds important resources, enrichment programs, teacher appreciation events, grants for student clubs and events, and individual scholarships – all benefiting Medway middle and high school students, parents and teachers.

Ready to Shuffle? Please join the Medway Elementary Parent Teacher Organization for their 8th annual Shamrock Shuffle! This 5K, happening on Saturday, March 9th at 9:00 AM, winds through the scenic back roads of Medway. You will also be able to register teams this year. Be creative and make sure you wear green! Back by popular demand, Dodging4School is scheduled for Saturday , March 23rd at the Medway Middle School, 45 Holliston St., 11:30 AM-7:00 PM. Entering it's 4th year, you will be sure to hear the excitement over the next few weeks as younger students form their teams.
