Spring Tree Tips

Several of our arborists recently completed training and testing to become Tree Risk Assessment Qualified. We encourage our arborists to continue their education and achieve these additional qualifications so that we can provide the best service with the most updated knowledge to our clients.

A TRAQ arborist, also known as a Tree Risk Assessment Qualification arborist, is a qualified professional who specializes in assessing the risks associated with trees. They have been trained to identify potential risks posed by trees and evaluate the severity of impact should a failure occur. TRAQ arborists are an important part of the tree care industry. These arborists work with their clients to better understand the risk a tree may pose and the likelihood of a failure that could lead to accidents, injury, and property damage.

Tree risk assessments are appropriate for a property owner or tree manager who is interested in having a thorough, objective review of a tree with a written report explaining the observations of the arborist. It is a comprehensive and thorough look at a tree than our standard arborist appointment. In some cases a written report is required for a tree. The tree may be a heritage or legacy tree, or the tree owner is dedicated the preservation of a tree or grove, Tree risk assessments may be a good option for a more thorough in-depth look at the health of the tree.

Complimentary Annual Inspections

We are still scheduling our annual inspections, please reach out to us if you have not heard from the office to schedule your complimentary inspection.

As part of our dedication to our clients, we like to stop by each property that we have previously visited to inspect your trees and note any potential risks, or ways to improve the health of your trees. This is particularly important for our PHC and cable clients to make sure that the cables are in tact and that are treatments are providing the intended benefit. Often, our arborist will look around and note that everything looks good, and provide you peace of mind as your trees continue to grow. Please let us know when you would like to schedule your complimentary annual inspection. You can reach out directly by emailing us, or give our office a call and Erna would be happy to help schedule this free evaluation of your trees.
